Eight groups of young people from across the UK won a prestigious Philip Lawrence Award in 2006.
Sir Trevor McDonald presented the awards in a ceremony at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London on 5 December 2006.
The winning groups bring together young people from a diverse range of backgrounds and tackle a range of important issues including projects that help promote community safety and counter crime, violence and racism.
