Nang!’s Amazing Year

Only last year, the Nang! team was facing extinction after a lack of funding led to the cancellation of an issue. A year later, we’re thriving with an endless list of celebrity interviews, fashion and entertainment contacts and a record number of staff. David Gordon takes a look back at a truly amazing year.

November 2006
David is appointed Acting Editor after the resignation of Divina
Nang! told that there isn’t any money for a Winter issue or a web designer
Work begins on the Spring 2007 issue with an exclusive interview with the Editor of The Times
December 2006
Nang! wins a Philip Lawrence Award
Given a 10.1 megapixel camera as a Christmas present from the Editor of The Times
January 2007
PLA press coverage leads to a large number of recruits
February 2007
David is appointed the full-time Editor of Nang! Magazine and makes mass recruitment and the promotion of local youth initiatives his main goals
Sanoobar is appointed Deputy Editor
March 2007

April 2007
Spring 2007 issue is released in sixth forms, colleges, libraries and universities in London
Work begins on the Summer 2007 issue
May 2007

Sanoobar promoted to Creative Editor whilst Kamilia becomes the Assistant Editor

Nang! are asked to create the official PLA 2007 magazine
